I'd definitely be interested.
Data Backup Methodolgy Webcasts
Folks,
In the past I have offered webcasts on the different methods of Data Backup to large groups. I would like to gauge the community interest in offering these webcasts to the biznik community.
The webcasts last about 30 minutes and cover the basics of tape backup, hard drive backup, cd /dvd backup, flash memory backup, internet backup, etc. We go over the inherent strengths and weaknesses of each and cover ways to bolster the strengths and counter the weaknesses. The goal of the webcast is to make your data backups rock solid no matter which method you are using.
Is anybody interested?

Dan,
Do we have the capability to do virtual events? I would love to offer the webcast exclusively to the biznik community.

Okay, I am convinced that there is a way to do it even of the system does not support virtual events.
I will post an event for this Free Webcast and use my own address as the location. I will then publish in the event text that it is virtual and give all of the details and requirements. I think for now, until the system supports these types of events, this is the best solution...
Any thought on this?
Dan, do you want to chime in?

I think that's a great idea, I hope people will turn out. No one likes to think about backup until AFTER disaster happens, but its damn important.
When it comes to backup, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
