Subscribe to Indie Biz Q&A Geek cabin getaways?

I'd like to spend a week in a cabin with my business partners (and daughter). Luckily one of my business partners is my wife, so what we need is a 2 bedroom cabin in the mountains (snow would be a plus) for a few days, that has DSL. Does anyone know of a place like this?

    try vrbo.com

I use it for my own listings, as well as searching for vacation properties for myself. Most listings will list ammenites, like DSL.

    Good Luck

Biznik member, Ed Reese owns a company called Home Handler - homehandler.com. It's targeted at the vacation home owner looking for renters, but it includes a list of listing sites, that might be a good place for you to start:

I have a big three bedroom Log Cabin in Glacier, WA, near Mount Baker. You can't get DSL anywhere near there, but it does have satellite internet hooked up to a wireless router.

Disclaimer: Satellite internet works but it ain't super fast, the latency is pretty huge. (~1 second) But it IS the internet. :)
