I'm not qualified for Flash demos, but for other things of this nature I've seen listings, and replied to a few on Craig's List. I don't know what kind of, or the quality of the responses, but it certainly seems to be a place where there are a lot of listings for part, and contract work of this type.
Good places to find graphic designer/flash freelancers?
My company has a need for a freelance graphic designer (some basic banner images, web buttons, etc) who also can pull together Flash-based Web site demos.
Several projects in the next 3-4 months, then perhaps 20hrs per quarter on a recurring basis if the first part goes well. Special preference for anyone who offers non-profit discounts! :)
I'm hoping there are some good Biznik members who might fit the bill. If not, does anyone have good recommendations of sites/online communities/etc where I can find someone? I've read up on a bunch, but it's tough to sort the good from the fad. Preference is local (Seattle metro area) but if need be I'm fine working with someone remotely.
Thanks for any pointers. Or if you're interested in the work yourself, please message me.

There are number of online sites with both offshore/local resources, with hundreds of providers to choose from.. Post your needs (be specific!) and see what kind of responses you get:
- elance.com

Why don't you contact Mary Bonar at Shoreline Community College? That is where I went to design school and there are some people there that are hot designers looking for work! Some are still students beefing up their skills and some just stay in touch so Mary knows what is going on with them. There was one gal there that had graduated but would still come in to use the resources and the graduated students also work there in the lab too.

Good luck!

Kevin, I hope this is okay? It will top post your post.
I'm looking for a web designer too. Need someone to do updates, and improve SEO. Want someone who has the same design sensibilities I have, to improve the design I have, and maybe, eventually, propose a new design.
If you're interested, or know anyone who is, could you please ask them to contact me by email?
Thanks!
