On 15th ave W there is a business that specializes in cleaning leather. Most of the dry cleaners in the area send their leather dry cleaning to them. I think its called Leather Cleaners. Try looking them up and giving them a call. Art T.
How to get ink off of Naugahyde
I'd like to know how, since my new adjusting table now has one large nasty mark and several small ones.
I called the company that sold me the table; they couldn't help at all which surprised me.
Someone has suggested Goof Off! Any experience with that?
Any recommendations... other than to be more careful:-)

I have heard somewhere that hairspray can get ink out of things. You could try this out by testing hairpray on the underside of your table surface first. That way if the hairspray (or goof off for that matter) is bad for the immitation leather it won't show. Then try it out on the spot. Good Luck

So far I have a large collection of what does not get ink off of naugahyde:-)
The good news is that I got over worrying about it and have moved on.

My Friend said get a new couch. But really I assume this is an expensive table. How much research goes into buying them and are they industry standard?

I spent $600+ in March to get new cushions and coverings and it took several hours to take the old ones off and put the new ones on...
Anyway, we aren't really thinking much about it any more. The ink has faded and no one seems to notice.

Denis, Glad the ink's not bothering you any more. If it's actually Ultrasuede (not Naugahyde) you can try mild detergent and water, or mild cleaning fluid from the hardware store.

Nope, it's naugahyde, but thanks for the tip. My usual cleaning solution is a super cleaning, non-toxic, environmentally friendly product called RAM (that and some lavender oil). It will remove nearly anything at a high enough concentration, but not ink on naugahyde:-)
