I don't know about labels specifically, but VMS (http://www.vmsprint.com/, info@vmsprint.com) has done an excellent job with any printing request that I or anyone I know has thrown at them, at good prices.

    Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the info and link - I will check them out. The only other response I've received was from someone in Seattle, and it the quote was crazy expensive. On another note... what is it that you do?

    Hi Jillian,

This company doesn't reside in SF, but you might find them intriguing. Moo.com is a great company based in the UK, which offers reasonably priced print materials that can be easily customized by you.

Though they currently don't offer traditional labeling, I'd suggest giving their mini-cards a look. Since you manufacture giant fortune cookies, the moo-mini cards might make great product tags, esp. because their shape evokes the shape of fortunes inside your cookies. Easily customizable, with the ability to upload 100 different images for the backs of a 100 different cards, they've inspired gorgeous product tags and labeling (see their examples). At $20 per 100, they're fairly affordable and offer you a lot of flexibility.

Since you customize your product, you'd be able to customize these tags with a fairly quick turnaround (5 to 10 days, tops). They also stock mini-stickers and other great items. I use them frequently to brand my work.

    Hope this helps.

In San Francisco you might talk to Ape Do Good Printing, www.apedogood.com they might be able to put together the right solution.

    Hi Jillian,

If you are on a budget, PS Prints might be a good option - they are located in the East Bay. They also have an on-line shop which is very popular. They offer a range of services and products including labels/stickers.

I am also not sure about labels but I know one printer in Berkeley that I highly recommend. The name is Savoir Print. The phone number is (888) 894-2810. The website is www.savoirprint.com. You can talk to Laura Hagar, the co-owner, and tell her I sent you.

They may be able to do a custom job for you.

The address is 2331 Fifth Street, Berkeley, CA 94710
