That would be me! I do consulting on greening, as well as the interiors bit.
I'll give you a call or you can call me as well!
Look forward to meeting you, Amy
Our small business is going green. Anyone know of any good consultants in Seattle or Tacoma to aid in this process? Any good ideas of changes we can make? We are a court reporting firm located in Tacoma. wwww.vernoncourtreporters.com. Any feedback/insight would be appreciated!

What I find hilarious is that at the time of this post, the two of you have nearly the same pose. Looks like a match!
Adrienne, maybe you can post back here and give us some highlights of what you learned from Amy after you work with her. I am sure lots of bizniks would be interested in some tips.
heehee That IS pretty funny about the posing!
Also - don't forget to use "green" promotional products to market your business. My company - www.primesourcedistributors.com has many "eco-friendly" products that you can use for promotions.
Thank you all for your suggestions -- we are actually working with a consultant and already purchasing green promo products. I wish I would have known about your companies beforehand! But I think it is all working out just great!
Very exciting! I'll post back with more updates as they come!
Does anyone have any suggestions on incentives to get clients motivated to take advantage of our green services, as opposed to the conventional ones?
Parsons PR specializes in green marketing and PR. Give them a call for some ideas...or ask a few of our marketing people here directly.
Key part is knowing your target market and what would impress and sell them on your biz being green vs any other court reporting biz.
Best to you!
Hi! Gina Diamond can most likely help you - she's an eco-coach and this is exactly what she does! You can just look her up on Biznik.
She's great! Hope this helps.

Adrienne, in what way do your green services differ from your regular ones?
In any event, the best way to begin reaping benefits from "going green" is to walk the talk, and then talk about it some more. For example, your profile here on biznik says nothing about your green-ness. That would be a good place to start.
You can also start networking with the green business crowd. One opportunity here on biznik is the green themed event I am co-hosting on August 16:
http://biznik.com/events/2008/8/16/greenies-are-you-out-there
Another on-going event are the very casual "green drinks" socials: http://www.seattlegreendrinks.org/
I hope this is helpful.
