    Sure....

    This is real estate specific:

create profiles and syndication blogs on the following sites:

    www.rismedia.com www.realtownblogs.com www.activerain.com

Create free listings on the Google and Superpages.com

Write up a list of the five most influential blogs that show up on the keywords you are trying to reach for search traffic that allow a url link in commenting. Every day, make a comment on at least one of those blogs.

Oh yeah... read my blog at socialmediasystems.com and my the weekly online marketing article I write for Real Estate Magazine (rismedia.com)

Had to stick in the shameless plug since those articles are so relevant.

Thanks, how do you create a syndication blog? I only have the time and energy to keep one or two blogs current. Is there a line of code that RSS copies my blog somewhere else, and if so wouldn't that duplicate copy hurt SEO?

A syndication blog is a blog created solely for readership... by copying the header or article intro and specifying it to the audience.

You wouldn't want to copy the exact article, but change it slightly or abridge the copy and link back to the complete article on your main blog.

In the case of being a new blog, you need to get as many relevant links directed to your initial set of articles to create some immediate recognition for your blog. You can do that by going to the larger and more prominent community sites that already have some recognition and traffic. Biznik is one of the few sites that has an automatic syndication of your blog here on your profile. Unfortunately the Biznik syndication blog is not real estate focused for keywords (you are basically at the mercy of the community in the case of a syndication blog)

So far, I think you're doing pretty good. Give yourself credit and give yourself time to get into the flow with blogging. It takes time to develop readership. And if you stick with your habit of paying attention to relevant blogs and providing useful comments, you'll definitely find yourself gaining readership with time.

Another thing you might want to think about is repurposing your content - a slightly expanded blog post could make a great article in a trade publication or local paper/magazine. See if there's anything in your content that you can use somewhere else, either as-is or modified - I import my blog directly into Facebook, for example, and re-post my blog entries into Gather.com to get maximum exposure for my time investment.

    Good luck and happy blogging!
