Kudos For Biznik

Two years ago when I did a search for 'Jeff Collins' on Google (42,400 results) I couldn't find a reference to myself in the first 200 pages (2000 results). My own website couldn't even be found. With a little effort I made it into the first 50 pages (500 results) as of one year ago. At about that time I started using Biznik.

Since then I have done a little more online networking & blogging and you can find me as 'Jeff Collins' on each of the first 9 pages of Google’s results. As an active, & perhaps paying, Bizniker there is a reference to me from Biznik on the second search results page in the in the 15th spot. It is preempted only by two other results, my own website & LinkedIn which made it to the first page. To me this says a lot about this little community we are all helping build. It is ranking quite high in the search results. The Biznik team is really making things happen & they are to all our benefit. 'Jeff Collins' is a very common name & to see me at 15 in results when I was previously not seen on the web amazes me.

Also, most of us do not use the word Haberdasher on a daily basis but it is listed 208,000 times on Google searches. Via Biznik you can find me listed as a Haberdasher at #102 which is in the top one half of one percent of all listings. My website is found at #5; a spot that was very difficult to reach.

If you want to have results better than mine you might want to pay the $25/month to Biznik like I do then hire one of the experts here on Biznik who specialize in achieving great web results. That will save you A LOT of time.

Jeff... May I add my Kudos also for Biznik and say Thank You to You. I think you were the first person to reach out to me after joining. It always makes one feel welcome when they are greeted.

My own experience with Google search ratings has been phenomenal and I credit Biznik activity with a great deal of my results.

Google "Small Business Financing Coach" and you will see why I feel this way.

Every day I get a notice from a site I'm a member of saying that someone looked at my profile.

It shows that today someone looked up 'Jeff Collins Seattle.' One of the first ten results was not me. The other nine, yep, me. Biznik accounted for 3 of those top ten results.

If you want to be found on the web then participate in Biznik.

My favorite thing about is Biznik is: freedom. So many other networking groups are strictly regimented and controlled (limited vision). I like that Dan and Lara do not favor one group or person over another, but let the community go where it needs and wants to go.
