I would be interested. Sounds like a great idea were we could collaborate and share ideas and problems solve. I have room at my office for free if space is needed.
Bellingham LMT and bodyworkers get together!
There are about 400 of us in Whatcom county. Amazing, eh? I'd love to be able to meet with other LMT's to talk shop and share experiences. Anything new I learn, I'd love to share, and I'd love to hear about your experiences, too. I just can't get into competition, wastes time and energy. There's enough for all. I'd like to support new LMT's, too. No special group affiliation needed, and no fees. Anyone interested?

I am sure we could find 400 volunteers to let you all show some of the different techniques.

Well as a matter of fact Jim, we will be doing a presentation on Massage and Bodywork for Biznik members this month! Read about it the Events section!

That sounds fantastic, Jessica. Your collaborative approach is what Biznik is all about. When I was in a very competative, even called, "cut-throat" corporate business, something always felt wrong. Much later I learned that it is OK to team up with your "industry counterparts" and what amazingly happens is that it actually opens up more business possibilities rather than takes away from.
True abundance thinking in action. PS - looking forward to your event!

FYI, the December Event I was planning will not be happening. I need to fine tune my understanding of the Guidelines so it fits the BizNik focus. I get so excited talking about Massage that I sometimes get going too fast! LOL! Thanks for all the volunteers, though. grin

Bliss and I want to help get this event going. It seems there are plenty of interested people who would love to attend. Maybe Tshombe, Lori, and Jim can help us also. The question is "How can massage help your business" I can see so many answers to this question. Lets pick one.

A bigger topic is - how can stress reduction help you grow your business? You can use examples (I can offer some, and I'm sure others can too) and you can incorporate different ideas for sress relief - with examples of each - that also would include more health workers I am sure. What do you think?

Another possible idea is to simply facilitate a social hour - or happy hour - for those in your field. The Bellingham graphic designers who get together are setting an example in that.

OH I love this! I'd love to hear more of your thoughts on this Lori, and thoughts from others, too.

Hi Jessica and Tom,
Unfortunately, Lori is out-of-town most of the week, but I will drop in on your meeting with Tom on Wednesday to offer some ideas on your event.
In the meantime, you might check out the Biznik descriptions of typical events and what they entail.
