Subscribe to Biznik community-builders forum Seattle Referral Network?

Hello!

Is anyone interested in forming a group to meet on a regular basis to network, generate cross-referrals, and discuss the joys of running a small business?

We could meet downtown biweekly to get to know each other and help all our businesses grow together.

To be most effective, the group would be limited to one person from each profession so it would be a comfortable atmosphere without direct competition for referrals.

Interested? Please include your primary service or product in your reply.

Hey there Matt! Love your idea! I'm joining BNI and love the idea of an e-network. Count me in. I'm a lifestyle and business coach.

    Great profile!

Hello Matt, I would be interested, I'm definetly free for the tele conference and internet connections as often as needed. I'm going to be in Seattle more regularly in Spring then there for the summer. I do come up once a month as weather permits and I can bring lots of business to the table. Let me know if you would like to add me to your network Thanks, Robert

    Hey guys,

Rich Whitaker has a significant head start to getting this going.

    Give him a holler.

Rich is a good and very knowledgeable guy, but maybe there's always room for more networking. I'd be game for such a group. I do marketing both strategic and tactical. Let me know if you are still interested in creating an active regularly scheduled group.

I'm interested in cross networking and referral. In th past I have blonged to a variety of groups, but found them two dimensional. The same five people always show up, if you're lucky.

I would propose a ya all come set of events to start then whittle it down.

I'm not sure whether you'd be interested or not, but my company (Balcos Insurance) has a great referral program.

For every referral we receive, you get: - $10 Chevron Card - $5 Donated to Charity - 3 $50 Gift cards for the three people who send us the most referrals monthly,

    plus...

    • An entry into our annual raffle for:
    • 1st Prize: Free Gas for a Year (up to $1000)
    • 2nd Prize: $250 Shopping Spree
    • 3rd Prize: Dinner for two ($50 limit)
    • 4th Prize: Dinner for two ($50 limit)
    • 5th Prize: $25 Safeway Gift Card
    • 6th Prize: $25 Safeway Gift Card

If you want more information, referral cards (to make it even easier), brochures, or anything else, feel free to let me know and I am happy to send them out your way.

If you send clients our way, just be sure they give us your name when they call (don't worry, we ask).

Has this referral network gotten any traction yet. I would be interested in participating.

Whoops - small correction. The shopping spree is for $200, not $250.

The referral program has 172 people entered in it so far this year. Which means your odds of winning are positively some of the best around (sure beats Lotto, doesn't it?). We're up to $860 in the pot for charities this year, and $1720 given away in gas cards so far.

Eric, I'd be happy to send you brochures (and a brochure stand if you have somewhere to place it - just let me know) and our referral cards. Before you hand the cards out, just write your name on the back so that they remember to mention your name when they call us.

Go ahead and send me a mailing address and let me know what you need (and how many), and I'll get you set up right away. Thanks for your interest!

Seems there is interest in this again! So, how about an inaugural meeting?

How about something the 24th? If there is enough interest, I'll post an event.
