Subscribe to Biznik community-builders forum Would you attend a teleconference?

How do you feel about a teleconference based event?

Right now the events pages telecons are not designed to accommodate telecons, and I know Dan and Lara have plenty of other things to do. At the same time, I love gathering by phone and have done lots of both casual and more structured gatherings using conferencing.

So, let me know if you would attend a class or group that met by telephone. If the call is long distance for you (218 or 712 area code), you'll have usual long distance charges. Of course, you also will have the convenience of participating from home or work.

    Welcome Nancy! Just noticed you joined.

    Thank you, Lara. I think it has the makings of a very dynamic group. I love how you and Dan are always listening to the needs of Bizniks and continually building in flexibility for members to make Biznik their own while still remaining true to your original mission.

    To Nancy and others --

    I've just approved for publication in the Virtual Events Group an event hosted by Howard Howell, "That Sales Guy," and one of his colleagues.  This event is NOT virtual (It will be in Issaquah, Washington), but (among other things) shows you how to put on virtual events.

    The event -- Use the New Media Reality To Sell YOUR Expertise -- is a PAID half-day workshop and it's TOMORROW, Friday October 23.  So if you are interested, I suggest you register right away.

    As an added bonus, the facilitators are offering a 50% discount for Biznik Members only.  Isn't that AWESOME?

    See the event page for details.  You may RSVP there, but remember to follow Howard's link to the actually registration page so you can pay for the event.

    @Tshombe, I wish I could go. I just had a partial knee replacement surgery last week. It will be awhile before I can walk down my stairs. Driving ability will be even longer. Thanks for the offer. I'm glad the group is available.

    Hi Nancy! Another reason for virtual events, eh? Get better quickly!

    Just approved your virtual event, Molly. Looks like a good one :-)

    @Tshombe, You got that right!

    I can now walk, very very slow, with a cane. No driving for about another month, at least. Can be picked up for events if I am able to keep my leg elevated where ever I go to.

    I'm getting there and getting excited. I feel so isolated sitting at home day after day. But that will soon pass and you all will see me once again active in events.

    See you all soon!
