Subscribe to Business Advice Developing Entrepreneurship

Can entrepreneur qualities be developed by practicing and rethinking?

I am a student studying and practice many business methods at my dads office.

I try to interact with new clients and peoples... but sometimes I dont have better ideas and interesting topics to discuss and create an interest in the client, employee and society!

I lack in communication skills of interacting with differnt peoples with different perception - please leave me some suggestions...

This kind of thing is very hard to do and it requires a mental leap. Try not talking or attempting to come up with the next big idea. Listen to other peoples ideas instead. Listen and learn and you will develop a sense of perspective. Grow from there with all of those ideas in your head.

I learned that a good question is worth 10 statements. I think that good business practices are both taught and caught. Also there are many aspectsof business, including marketing, management, planning, finances, technology, etc. Pick one you are interested in and become a master in that area.

    Good look.

The recurrent theme in the feedback here to ask questions is key. Better to understand than to be understand, the saying goes. Deep listening follows...

Then you can be of help to others.

Richard Whitaker comment is pretty much sum up everything, pick one subject that you love most and master it. It is always better to be good in one thing rather than mediocre in everything.

Plus, being an entrepreneur required a dedication and it is like a curse, once you're into it, there is no turning back. Develop your business intuition by listening or watching other people cases.

Let book's theory guide you to the right path and let your mistakes sharpen your skills.

    Most importantly, enjoy what you're doing . . .
