Subscribe to Business networking tips and resources 42 boxes of books to sell

I am finally ready to let go of my extra books (still keeping another 40 boxes). I hear there are some really good places to sell online. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Terra

42 boxes? Have you contacted a local used bookstore to see if they would like to make a bulk purchase?

They might also be able to recommend a wholesale book reseller.

Thanks, Laura. I actually want to sell online. Most of the books are oversized and many are quite valuable. I appreciate the suggestion.

Have you organized them into collections? When I sold my comic books online, I fetched higher prices if I put them into groups.

    Could always go for Ebay.

    or

    Amazon.

When I had 20 computer books to sell a few years ago to raise money for my membership in the QuickBooks ProAdvisors program, I got good results from Craigslist: Seattle.

I would suggest that you look up each title on Google or Yahoo/MSN/Bing or on the Powells Bookstore in Portland and see what price they are bringing.

Thanks Dr.QB and Tyler, I think I am going to do a bit of all of it. Half price offered not even a penny on the dollar. Ebay will be good for some of the more rare editions and craigslist for the day to day stuff.

This forum is unmoderated, but please keep discussion courteous and not too far off topic.
