I can't agree with you more, it was truly an eventful day… Again thank you goes out to everyone who had a hand in pulling off this event.

BizJam Seattle 08
What a rockin event today. Social media abound. I found myself completely inspired with great ideas about how to show up authentically online. It was like a nut cracked and the stiff formula I thought was necessary fell away for true "enthusiasm" (a word many speakers used today).
Now I need to get to work and put the ideas into action. I have been enjoying a quieter place with my business lately -- but now it's time to get the fire going again.
Thanks to Dan, Lara and everyone who helped put this day together, as well as the knowledgeable and inspiring speakers.

Those who didn't attend: you're missing out today. I'm in a session with Lisa Johnson and she alone was worth the price of admission.

Lisa was awesome, indeed. So was Karrie K. And Mikelann. And Pamela.
I had a great BizJam day today! Perfect weather. Great presenters. Tasty sandwiches. Awesome connections. What else can I say?

Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to put BizJam together. There was a lot of great information and great people. I'm excited to get the video done and online so all presentations can be seen.

WAHOO! Is right. I'm still jazzed about both days. It was kind of crazy coming home after the party last night and realizing I needed to function day to day in my biz again. The conference had taken my mind so far into the world of "Possibility" that the "daily grind" was in another continent. SO... next steps to make all the awesome ideas a part of daily reality -- one To Do at a time. I'm also looking forward to staying in touch with the many great folks I met.
Cheers! Piper

It was a great event indeed!
There was so much learning and fun .... I hated the fact that I had to miss a few good talks because they happened at the same time. Sitting down with people at lunch or running for coffee during the breaks, sharing their take-aways and responses was one of the highlights.
Office Nomads Networking Lounge was awesome! The comfy couches provided a nice alternative for my sweet hurtin' back. :)
Thanks to Dan and Lara and all the volunteers for the endless hours they put in for this. They looked like proud parents at the party last night!
Can't wait to see event pictures!! It's also a shared experience that we can talk about throughout this year until next BizJam!

Thanks everyone for making this the best BizJam ever! As soon as Basil Shadid has the video available, I'll be posting it so you can catch the sessions you missed. And check bizjam08.sharemyalbums.com, the official photo sharing site of BizJam, for photos (although no one has posted anything there yet). Currently the most photos from the event are on flickr, where you can find BizJam photos (and a lot of presenter slides) under the tag "bizjamseattle08."
Thanks to all you rock stars who came out the party last night on a school night. In hindsight, I don't know WHAT we were thinking to throw the party on Thursday night - we should have done it on Friday, hey?

Truly an amazing experience. Valerie and Elizabeth are being very humble, but they and their army of volunteers deserve heaps of praise. I know how much work goes into putting an event like this on.
It was a conference where no one was a stranger, even if you hadn't formally met each other. And there was enough variety in the presenters that there was something for everyone.
It was definitely worth the price of admission several times over.
Thanks to Dan and Lara for bringing us BizJam '08!
