Subscribe to Business networking tips and resources Three Little Birds Sitting On A Wire

Picture three little birds sitting on a telephone wire. Two of them decide to fly away... how many birds are left?

The answer is three little birds are left on the wire. A 'decision' like a goal or plan does not take flight until it is coupled with action.

This little riddle was meant for a chuckle for some, a reminder for others and a kick in pants for a couple of us. I meant it as a conversation starter.

I was just listening to Tony Robbins and that sounds like something he would say. Although he distinguishes between a "preference" ie the bird would like to fly away and a "decision" ie the bird finally takes action. But really action is what everything boils down to...finally taking action on our goals, ideas and dreams.

This forum is unmoderated, but please keep discussion courteous and not too far off topic.
