Subscribe to Coffee Break Free Beer!

What draws you to someones topic? Is it the title? Is it the persons picture? Is it how many people that replied to the topic? Is it how many people viewed the topic? Do people actually take the time to look at a persons write-up after they have viewed that persons post? Just checking.

Everything! [I don't care for beer]

I like to check up on topics that have 0 to a few replies and the topics that have many replies. For me the picture doesn't matter. I usually check on the posters profile if their post was interesting.

    I hope that helps =]

I think it's just like any type of writing. The headline will draw people in, and the first part of what you write (header) will keep them interested or make them leave.

So.... when do we get the free beer? :)

I was drawn here by the free beer.

Other topics are attractive to me because of a myriad of different factors. The subject matter is usually interesting or completely unfamiliar to me, thereby piquing my curiosity.

You owe me a beer :)

Bret and Sarah you're all right with me! Andrey....I don't know about you......Just kidding! Thanks for the feedback.

The reason I was asking was because I saw a post in here today that generated like 200 responses within the first 13mins. I thought that was pretty crazy.

The free beer worked for me, but really I just poke around in the threads where there is some conversation happening, even if it doesn't directly apply to me. I just like to read what people are thinking.

This forum is unmoderated, but please keep discussion courteous and not too far off topic.
