Heh, I grew up in San Diego, but I moved northward. The weather was a little hot and the traffic was a little much. Not to mention the city council + developers and their ridiculous plans for taxpayer money.

    Sean,

I hear you! I see that you are a multimedia producer and a musician....I would love for you to check out my site:

    http://www.carriersignalmusic.com

Honestly tell me what you think of the site and the music. All feedback is welcomed. We are really trying to make a go at this.

    Rich,

I wasn't able to listen much to your music because I left my headphones at home (at job now).

I liked what I heard of the music, accompanying artwork and lyrics is a nice touch. I'll give you a more critical ear when I have headphones.

The site is another matter, carrier signal is such a neat metaphor for music, the message is carried with the waves, it's a shame this isn't communicated at all visually with your site.

Whatever host you are using has troubles, because I got an 'application error' when visiting your site for the second time. As you are a flash based site, there is no reason to be running any applications.

I'm sorry to say this, but this means your web developer is a bit of a hack. You don't have any content that google can find, so that's going to be problematic for your long-term success.

From a listener perspective, I like free mp3's i can put on my 'pod. If you're going to have shirts, put up actual shirts, not cafepress mockups.

Upcoming tours, news and contact should be available from the home page without having to dig into the site. Some sort of background music would be cool too.

    Hope this helps, Sean

    Hello, Rich:

I'm in So Cal - Ventura County, to be exact. It's bit north of you. I grew up in West Los Angeles.

I'm a graphic designer for both print and web. So I just had to check out your web site. Visually, your home page flash needs some smoothing out. It's probably running at a low fps rate.

    I like the music.

    Regards,

    Alvalyn

    Thanks Sean and Avalyn,

Its always good to get an outside opinion. There are some great ideas here. I'll run them by the rest of the band at the next meeting.

    Hi Rich,

We are from Carlsbad! I like the change here, weather wise and culture wise; but I think my partner (Leta) would prefer So Cal Weather!

    Hey Andrew,

Yes, the weather.....Its great....But I find that even the weather here stresses people out. Go figure.

    Nice to meet you,

    -Rich
