I'm in! I think this will be a great event, as it's being produced by Biznik supporting member Melody Biringer, who is the force behind a lot of great entrepreneurial events in Seattle, such as Crave Party and StartupJunkie. Plus, Biznik is a sponsor of the event. I mean, what's not to love about a company picnic for all us indie business types?

Are You Going to the Company Picnic? Why? Why Not?
I'd love to see a roster of who will be at the Company Picnic event on September 25th. I've grown accustomed to this feature for all biznik events and miss it when I go to non-bizzies.
So, sign in here, please, if you have bought or are buying a ticket online ($39), or at the door ($49). Is that a good price for an event like this?
Oh, and if you are not going, please tell me why.
I'm in no way affiliated with this gig, just really curious. It looks like a big, fun event, but is it worth fifty bucks?

Posted by Helen Martin, Seattle, Mercer Island, Bellevue, Washington | Sep 22, 2008I just found out about the picnic today and I really wish I could go, but I already have a commitment on Thursday evenings and on any other normal day, I might just cancel, but I am on the list for bringing food this evening so I cannot let my people down.
I'm looking forward to the next one and I hope everyone has fun and some good food for me.
