Ambassadors are Bizniks outside the Seattle area who are "sharing the love" in their communities. I don't know if there is info about it posted here yet, but you could chat with Joe Shirley.

The idea is to get cities and towns outside of Seattle as big and involved as Biznik's beloved home base. We have chosen select Bizniks who seem to want to do just that. There are of course guidelines for them in order to best perform and succeed. The basic mission is to host, I believe, three events a month and start spreading the word. For more information Joe Shirley is the man. He is holding the new position of the Ambassador's fearless leader.

Great Observation Barry! We are all really excited about the new Ambassador program. I am SURE more information will be available soon, it is still in its start up phase.

I think this program is exactly what Biznik needs to bring about exponential growth and duplicate the kind of life we see here in the Seattle area.

Yep, the rumors are true. Biznik has a new Ambassador program, flying under the radar at the moment until I - the new "Ambassador Mentor," can work out some simple systems to help me support awesome people around the country to help get Biznik flying high in other cities. And yes, we'll be posting an "official" announcement soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

In the meantime, here's a quick summary of the new role:

Benefits:

1. Free Supporting Membership (worth $288/year)
2. Enhanced profile on Biznik.
3. Key role in building the exciting Biznik community.
4. Support in leveraging your role into growing your business.

Responsibilities:

1. Host two Biznik events per month.
2. Encourage others in your local network to host events.
3. Participate in your local Biznik community.
4. Provide feedback to Biznik about your experience.

The role is a total win-win. You help Biznik grow, and your efforts help you grow your business. My job as Ambassador Mentor is to support you in succeeding on both sides of the equation.

Good question Barry, I noticed the badges too and wondered what I had missed out on.... I guess I missed out on being in another region.

What a great idea to have an Ambassador program. I love Biznik and have been an Ambassador at Heart / Raving Fan since the day I joined. It will be so much fun to share Biznik with fellow indie business owners in my upcoming world travels...

WE are working hard to get some Biznik traction here in the Bay Area. We are having another speed networking meeting on Jan. 19th. All Bay Area Biznikkers are welcome.
