Subscribe to Community-wide general discussion Calling all Virtual Assistants for a survey

Needing stand-alone virtual assistants to fill out a survey. The survey has been extended until September 15th. Seriously seeking virtual assistants from the U.K., Ireland and Australia.

Survey can be found at the following link: http://tinyurl.com/vacoc08

Thanks, Colleen

Hi Colleen, I imagine the results of this survey will be very interesting and perhaps could have been enlightening about the Virtual Assistant industry in general.

I attempted to fill out the survey early in August. However, because I did not agree with this organization's narrow definition of Virtual Assistant, I was not allowed to complete the survey.

I understand that there is a desire to get at least 500 to complete the survey. I'm wondering if the extended deadline is because so many "Virtual Assistants" have been excluded from the survey.

As a researcher in my former life, I sincerely hope that the methodology used in this survey is clearly outlined in the reporting of the results.

For anyone who is interested in reading more about how this survey has been interpreted by others in the industry, see: http://tinyurl.com/6m7cbk for an interesting blog post by a very well known Virtual Assistant as well as the many comments that followed by other Virtual Assistants.

    Thank you Kimberly,

There certainly has been quite a bit going around about this survey. As with all surveys, there is a certain criteria and group of virtual assistants that the survey is focussing on.

As addressed above, the survey calls for a virtual assistant that operates their business alone and with the majority of work being administrative support. The survey does not exclude those that subcontract work out to others but does exclude those that operate staffing agencies and multi-VA operations.

The survey is nearly complete. The VA Chamber of Commerce is only needing a few more VAs to wrap up. I'm just posting to see if there is anyone within the Biznik community that hadn't heard about the survey to see if they would want to be included.

This forum is unmoderated, but please keep discussion courteous and not too far off topic.
