Subscribe to Community-wide general discussion Client Appreciation Event

I am looking for some great ideas for a client appreciation event that would be held one day over the next month or so. It could be an event that includes all members of the family. I would like it to be an opportunity for people to mix and mingle amongst themselves as well as get back in touch with me.

This is a fairly loosely based idea right now. People have suggested renting out a local movie theatre for a private screening...that type of thing.

Are you planning any sort of client appreciation event and if so, what do you have in mind?

THANKS

At Arcania we have a great event space where we have had everything fro m spa day to classes to movie showings. You could host a spa day...in appreciation of your clients.

Elizabeth: I like family friendly places. My last event was held at the Elliott Bay Brewery in Burien. They have shuffleboard there. Next time, I might head to Acme Bowl in Southcenter. Acme Bowl is a modernized bowling alley with plenty for the kids. I do like Celeste's idea above. Good luck and I'll talk to you soon!

What a smart idea, Elizabeth. And including the whole family? Very cool.

We're not planning such an event this year, but will be interested in the suggestions.

    Hi-

We do a lot of these for our corporate clients. It really depends on how big of a group you are thinking of and how long. One of the most successful (but it might be too cold) was a 2.5 hour dinner cruise around Bellingham Bay (for a client there). We had a raffle for cool prizes like ITV and spa certificates and the like. All the kids came and they loved it. It was about 80 people total. You could totally do this in Seattle.

or, you could do something holiday/season centric where you rented out a barn or 'farmy' type space and did a fall festival party- either dinner or a daytime event. You could have entertainers that are child friendly, a meal or heavy apps etc.

Where do you want to do it? How many people? Budget? Time of Day? Feel free to give me a call with questions or if you need help in planning. :)

I planned an appreciation event last year for the project management firm that I was working with. We held it at El Gaucho downstairs and had a live piano player. It was a huge success. Everyone enjoyed the elegance of the location and the relaxed feel.

Have you considered using Lucky Strike in Bellevue. That would be a fun way for people to network and say thank you. I am not a big fan for screening a movie, you want to be able to talk with people, not sit silently.

If you need any help, please let me know.

    Julie
