We're going to be changing the rating system pretty soon, so that it's impossible for one person to skew the vote as has happened with the current system.
Hang in there, Dan
In the last few days, two of my articles were rated "Detrimental" (rating 1 out of 10) by one person.
I request this person to email me the reason the articles were detrimental. I am open to listen.
I am also curious if any of you got extreme rating on your article without any feedback. ??

Hsuan-Hua,
I'm curious. How did you know that someone rated your article detrimental? Was it the very first person who rated it? Otherwise, how would you know, unless just guessing by the way your rating went down?
I do think there is a flaw in the system and it's good to see that it's being addressed. Thanks, Dan, for taking a look at this.
Dan, Joe
Thanks for the heads up.

I know because I did a math calculation. With 6 votes, I had 51 points. With 7 votes, I got 52.5. The 7th vote came in at the same time with two of my articles.
I noticed this before, had some doubt but I was not sure. So I started to pay extra attention. I don't mind the rating from one person. I really want to know the reason for the rating.
Thanks for asking.
It just happened to me too. Nice huh?
