Subscribe to Community-wide general discussion Do you send Christmas Cards to Clients?

When i was in the car industry a few years back the owner of our dealership contracted with a service to send Christmas cards every year.. I've heard others say they preferred a different holiday so their cards didn't get buried by all the others. So maybe sending Thanksgiving cards would work as well.

Another business i know had us deliver mugs with their logo on it filled with candy on the one year anniversary of their becoming a client. what do you guys think? is this good business?

If i were to offer a service(sending gifts or cards) doing this i wonder if there would be any interest. Chime in if you have an opinion!

Manassas is a little over an hour away from Winchester. I go to Winchester from time to time. It's a nice place:).

i like the idea of the video greeting card..but i think the difficulty will rest in creating templates with enough production polish to satisfy a media savvy generation. also the proliferation of free web widgets that can act as an emeddable or linkable player may present some challenge for your business model.

still that challenge can be met and overcome if you can generate compelling content that will have wide appleal. i know some peeps here who may be able to help with that content generation. just ask and i will give you names.

that being said, Rossina, i really think you should consider getting a stronger video greeting card for your demo. that one was ok, but just not as energetic or polished as you may need to penetrate the Gen X Gen Y market..Baby Boomer's may be satisfied with that one, but the rest of us are very demanding in our content desires. it may have potential though. good luck!

    Hi Justin,

Before putting the Video Greeting Card out in the market, it was tested by having over 40,000 people view it, critic it, and rate it via online. The average rating was 4 stars out of 5 stars. It proved to have mass appeal. Those who viewed it were mostly under the age of 40.

    Thanks for your comments.
