So in review of my physical look lately I am considering changing some pheatures. All of my life I have been shaven (head and face) and now I am at a time in my life where I can choose to have long hair and a beard, and I like it. But I am also looking to "do something" with it.

Essentially the image I am wishing to portray is a sort of "neo-zen chinese medicine man look" 1/2 urban, 1/4 shaman, 1/4 zen, without a ton of maintenance.

Basically I started this thread to get ideas from all the other Bizniks out there who maybe feels my passion about having a great look without having to compromise their values of just shaving their face, keeping their hair short and completely bow down to the business world. I am looking for the middle path.

And also I don't really want this topic to be about me, I wish to hear what other people have to say in general, as that what this is all about anyway, ALL OF US.

Time for some last minute sunshine!!!

So funny you posted this today as a best friend (and house mate, till Sunday) just died her entire hair bright pink today -and it rocks. As 'unnatural' as it seems, it really is a great fit for her. Made me want to do something similarly bold and free...and as my biz is 'Spark'...hmmm, maybe a bright orange with light tips? (: (Never died my hair before)

I just died my hair pink and purple this week. I consider it my right as a designer to be a little freaky :) Tis that time of year, anyway. I also spent many hours doing a friend's hair. The results were quite rewarding http://www.flickr.com/photos/incombustible/1144799636/

Not to pimp services here, but I love doing hair and love transformations. Pink, green, long, curly, short, whatever. I'll give you a new do without changing the you. ;)

I hear you, SiJhay! I cut my hair off, dyed it red, and got glasses all in last week! :) It's liberating.

WOW, Brianna I didn't even recognize you (sometime I don't read names). Yeah I am looking for the flip without the flop. Don't know about orange....but some other color tone seems nice.

I am curious if the hair people are beard magicians as well???

    Liberation here I come!!!
