Feedback on my site
I welcome feedback on my newly re-launched site, http://www.npost.com, which features over 300 jobs from more than 50 companies. We specifically target small- to medium-sized tech companies and I am looking for feedback.
Also, we are hosting a networking event on Tuesday March 20th that is free. We will also have $2.00 pints. You can find more information in the events area of Biznik as well as at http://www.npost.com/events.jsp
Thanks!
Nathan Kaiser www.npost.com

It's working now. There's a bug in this version of the site that screws up the url when there's a period at the end of it.

I swear I'm going to make it to one of your events someday Nathan - but I'm hosting a Biznik happy hour Tuesday so won't be able to make this one.

nice easy read.
just move the About button next to the Home button. makes for faster learn about Npost. one might miss it when its at the other end of the button bar.
maybe add one more color? seems a bit stark. or some images or something to pump up the visuals just a wee bit.
cheerio! amy

We do hope to see you in the future. Also, we should meet for coffee again. Great work with the site.

Overall, the site's not bad. I agree with Amy, that adding another color would be great.
I tried to subscribe to the newsletter with the word "test" rather than an email and I should have received a message telling me that it was in a wrong format.
When I subscribed with a legitimate email, i didn't receive a message confirming my subscription. It was if nothing happened.
On your events page, you have a list of events called "Networking event". I would either make the names a little more meaningful or add a little summary with each listing. I realize you can click to read the full description, but a summary would be good to have.
In your nav, I would recommend having the tabs change background images not only when you click on it, but also when you hover. People are starting to expect that. You can do that with a little image replacement using CSS pretty easily.
Your signup form looks great. My only recommendation would be to change the standard submit button.. give it some spice!
Well done.

I have to agree with Lynn.. I did not see anything I would change. I like the white, websites like yours need to keep the colors simple so it can be as readable as possible.

Hi, let me add some extra comments...
A mad hacker with a so simple Web-Robot is able to damage your DB. In other words, you have no control on anonymous visitors...
I think, you are simply could block them by just ask them a Verification Code!
and also, alarm your users that their request for subscribtion accepted or not at all!
but as GUI, it is a well organized one! Good work...

Hi Shahin, Your point is well taken about needing verification codes whenever you let anyone sign up for anything. We've got the same issue with Biznik in the current site, but we're fixing it in the next release by sending an email to new signups, with a token that they must activate before the account is usable.

Dear Dan, Thanks for attention and support. Sending such a random Password thingy to a request for registration act as a verifcation link.
But, take a look at the link bellow: http://www.zanado.org/english/mixoftix-signup.asp
You could see a note to the visitor: "Enter the RVC (Rich Verification Code) shown in the image, to ensure that this hit is not a hack attack."
It seems that this subject is so hot and need another BizTalk title! I'll do that...
