This sounds like something I'd be interested in volunteering for. Sounds like fun! :) I'll try to make it to the meeting this Sunday. If I can't I'll contact you in person and we'll go from there.

"Green Music Festival"
Want to be involved in a music festival? Our non-profit, Global Music Project, is planning a music festival to entertain and educate the public on green issues and what we can do to help. We'll need volunteers for the event. Our first meeting is at noon on Sunday, Dec. 9th at Uptown Espresso (2504 4th Ave, Seattle, WA, 206-441-1084). We'll be meeting in the conference room (off to the left when you come in the door). You are all invited to attend this meeting and help us with ideas, etc. Looking forward to seeing you at Uptown Espresso!
If you can't attend the meeting and wish to help, please feel free to contact me here on Biznik!
ABOUT THE MUSIC FESTIVAL: We're planning the big event for Earth Day weekend in April so there's no time to waste! It'll likely be indoors, or an outdoor area that is covered. There will be a variety of entertainment representing other parts of the world and plenty of information to educate our attendees on making this a better world. We'll need a variety of volunteers, so come to this meeting and bring anyone you think might be willing to lend a hand at the event!
UNABLE TO VOLUNTEER? Then maybe you'd care to make a donation. Your contribution helps support our mission to unite humanity through the power of music. Just visit Global Music Project.org and click on the PayPal button. You can even make a donation as a gift for the holidays!

Hey Peter-
I'm part of Sustainable Capitol Hill, an organization created to connect and empower the CH community around the ideas of sustainability. We're working to create an event, currently titled "Imagine Capitol Hill," similar to what you're describing. I think it'd be great for our two energies to at least talk, if not outright combine. We're having a general SCH meeting this coming Monday, at Office Nomads (1617 Boylston Ave, Suite 200). It'll be potluck (begins at 6:30), then meeting. If you can't make that, but would be interested in talking, please email & we'll work it out.
If you want to email us broadly, we're at sustcaphill (at) gmail.com.
Looking forward to meeting you!
Gabriel

We're in beta testing at the moment of our service and I'd be willing to donate the service completely free if you'd be willing to give us a run this time around.
Please let me know if you're interested.
