Thanks, Chris.
Biznik's own fabulous Barry Hurd offers a thought-provoking article in response to Facebook's foray into the land of Vanity URLs. Very much worth a read!

Well, Tshombe, most of the tech-savvy folks here (seems like everyone but me) probably knew this days ago, and may not need a bore like me telling them what to do. But when I saw the notice, I thought of friends here.
Oh, not at all, Chris! I think this is a great resource that you provided and very thoughtful of you to share it :-)
I thought it was synchronistic (Is that a word?) that you shared this and I'd just read about it on Barry's blog, another great resource!
That's one of the great things about Biznik, that each of us discovers ways to help each other grow our businesses.
Believe me when I say that most of us here are NOT tech-savvy and we (that includes me!) are super-excited and grateful that people like you are looking out for us.
Clearly anyone who thinks of "friends here" is hardly "a bore"!
Thanks again, Chris. My intent for offering also to view and read Barry's interesting take on the matter was to add to your already great post.
Hey-
Appreciate it! Mine was a lame attempt at trying to be funny. His article was helpful as you mentioned (but somewhat over my head!)
Thanks, Tshombe.
Thanks for the heads up, Chris. I got my personal account registered already... it was easy. And funny or not... for those who haven't been on since Fri. night when it was available may need to know they can and it is simple. Jim
Chris - thank you for the reminder! I am a tech-head, but with running two businesses, often things like this can allude me. Much appreciated!
Hey Chris, Thanks for the good information. I knew it, heard it and didn't really get a hold of what it meant. Honestly, totally thought I would have had that url extension anyway. Never really paid attention.
Thanks!
