Wow, 2008 went fast, huh? Can you believe its the end of December already? Tell us, what is your business life like? How did your goal-setting go? Were you overly or under ambitious? What did you learn?

(Spoiler: I am playing off this (I dare you 2) previous post, encouraging us bizniks to role-play as if its the end of the year, sharing how your business has changed. Its intended as a reminder/refresher for those of you who posted goals earlier, an opportunity to slightly change course, or as an opportunity for those who haven't shared goals yet to do so in this unique way)

Well... I'm the new owner of Biznik and every Biznik member is now listed on the first page of Members [So no more fighting okay?].

Meh... I don't know Leif. I spent the last 20 years just getting used to the idea of seeing myself in the future. Seeing my business in the future [2009] is something I still have to get accustomed to!

    BTW: Great topic

Hehe, its good practice though Andrey --give it a try! From biblical "Without vision, man perishes" to "The law of attraction", you can't lose trying to color in the details of your future (unless you get rigid and unflexible to what reality brings in.)

Me, here in '08, I am happy to say that I accomplished my goal of making 5k a month from Spark Northwest starting last summer. And, unanticipated, Spark Social Media ended up making my goal back in April.

I love the dare. They are questions asked by most of the coaches. :)

I just reached my goal that I had for the last three years. I coached 750 hours with 25+ clients. Therefore, I was certified by the International Coach Federation as a Professional Certified Coach.

Three years ago, I was short of 600 hours. I had my yearly goal of 200-hour coaching and have been on top of my goals. I think SMART model is a good way to design goals and action plans. SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely.

I continue to use the model for 2008 goal setting and it works for me.

Setting goals is a very important element for a successful business. And it's not too late. It's only April! :)

Flackers (my raw, organic, vegan, flax crackers) were picked up by Trader Joe's and thanks to consecutive very large orders I was able to quit my day job and relocate!

    It's still April
