Subscribe to Community-wide general discussion In DC next 6 days, anybody need anything while I'm out?

I'll be in DC and Arlington, Va starting Friday the 23rd.

Just in case there's a Seattle-area Biznik who wishes they had a contact out there, let me know. My sister is in Biznik (trying to get her more involved), her husband is a speechwriter for a senator. I am hosting a Biznik happy hour networking event while there a few blocks from my sister's place.

I'm not sure how much I could do for you, but who knows? Just communicate it and I'm sure we could figure something out. Never hurts to ask.

I'm with Elizabeth on that one. January 20, 2009 seems REALLY far away. Go Obama!

The right president in the white house could solve more than just the bagel crisis. Imagine what they could do for the price of lox.

Now that would be a cool Biznik event. It's a tie between NYC and DC—my two favorite cities in the world.

Wish I were going! (I try to stay away from politics on the forums, but I'm with Elizabeth on this one.)

I laughed at that too Elizabeth. Couldn't we all use a new one? Too funny.
