Subscribe to Community-wide general discussion Last Biznik who helped you

Joe started a post asking us to celebrate the most recent Bizniks we've hired, and it got me to thinking about the Bizniks who've HELPED me...usually for free and out of the greatness of their hearts.

Since a lot of us get this kind of help and get to experience the quality of each other's skills and character, I'd like to promote those people who've helped us out.

Who has greatly helped you lately?

Lindy Boustedt and Kimberly LeRiche helped me figure out how to upload videos to YouTube. Fun!

I am impressed with this discussion! I just joined and live in Baltimore and am hoping I can find a sense of community and generosity as you people have written about here. Since the world is small I hope to tap into communities nomatter where they are literally. Thanks for sharing these posts. Trish

Thanks for joining in the spirit, Trish. I have a great friend who originally hails from Baltimore -- Rachael Millikan. Don't suppose you know her?

Anyone you are particularly looking to meet these days? Perhaps we can help out...

I have to add to my previous list as I recently had the opportunity to utilize Heather's services at BiziBee Floral & Gifts.

Heather created the most gorgeous floral spray for my aunt's funeral last week. She also did this all without me even having to set foot in her shop which was really helpful since I had so many other things to tend to...Heather was so gracious and kind, I will not soon forget her gentle way of taking care of me and my needs at the time.

So glad you got some kind-hearted support during a difficult time, Marlene. Heather and Justin have always seemed like sweethearts to me, too.

DeBorah Beatty helped me recently just out of the goodness of her heart. I needed more help with my blog page.

Christian Messer has helped me numerous times with techie issues! He is an amazing, giving man!

Judy Dunn offered support and technical help too.

Elke Siller Macartney took time out of her busy schedule to assist me during a recent acute illness. She stood up for me in the hospital while displaying the utmost tact towards a rather nasty nurse, navigated downtown rush hour traffic so I could see a specialist and picked up prescriptions all while dispensing cheerful conversation.

Elke personifies the word lifesaver. She was calm when I could not be, pleasant and firm to all we encountered and just a great all around human. We should all be so lucky to have her in our tribe!

To top this off, she drove from LaConner to Seattle to do this. I am amazed and thankful! I met Elke at a biznik workshop that I almost did not attend-just another biznik business friendship forged in the audience that will last a very long time.

Grazie, Terra! I feel we would all be much, much better off if we offered ourselves freely, without judgment or anticipation of "payback" when the call sincerely goes out.

As for me, I just want to shout my thanks!! to Dan McComb who sponsored my website for a couple of years, even while building the magnificent enterprise that is biznik... this all because we were "family"... Thanks Dan! All together, sing it with me now..."We are family! I've got all my bizniks with me....!"
