Subscribe to Community-wide general discussion Lawn mowers in Seattle?

Hi bizniks! Completely unrelated question here... I need to find a lawn company to mow our lawn here in north Seattle and neither Google or Biznik members seem to be any help.

Can anyone recommend someone?

Thanks! Rebecca

    Hi Rebeca,

You might try some of the local online review sites in the following list and see if any are listed (or if when you use one to list them.)

http://www.anglislist.com (need to be a member to look at them so ask around) http://www.judysbook.com (excellent) http://www.yelp.com (very good) http://www.zipingo.com/ http://www.insiderpages.com/ http://www.citysearch.com http://local.yahoo.com/

Try J.R. Vargas with V & V Services. He does a great job, and is fairly priced.

I have the standard 5000 sf Seattle lot. I get my lawn mowed, edged and blown 2 times per month, which seems to work for me. Give J.R. a call and tell him I referred you.

I got this recommendation from a client of mine who does gardenscape work. She hired him to do lawncare:

    Joe Russell: 206.306.6514

I cannot vouch for him and have never met him.

It might be worth calling all of these people who were recommended and listen to you gut as you talk with them.

Hi Rebecca - try Clean Air Lawn Care. They are using only electric and battery operated equipement. No pollutants, less noise and the same great cut.

cleanairlawncare.com or 888 yo we mow. They are a great ecofriendly alternative to traditional mowing services.
