The website that Art was talking about is called eVenues.com. We just launched last week, but watch for spaces to be popping up all over Seattle in the next few weeks. We plan to have over 50 spaces available for rent by hour, by half day, by day, or evening rentals by the end of September. We complete the transaction immediately through our website, which is the first immediate booking solution for these types of rentals on the internet. If you own or manage a space, you can also post your space for rent on our website and earn some extra income. Best of all, our listing service is absolutely free! We are eVenues, and we are a Marketplace for Space.
My Day Office VS. Office Nomads
I was hoping to get some people to speak of their experiences of these two places.
What the pros and cons are of each place? How's the pricing for what you get?
What have been your personal experiences and impressions of them?
AND - are there other places like them in the city or outside of the city?

I just started going to ON last week and I'm totally sold on it...but I really do office-y type work. You could use the conference rooms for private meetings, but they aren't visually so private. I'd recommend that you come check the space out yourself. Since your first day is free, there's no cost to you and you can see for yourself how the environment feels to you. If you find it works only for your office needs, then maybe you just come by on the occasional daily basis a few times a month.

For those who are looking for co-working or meeting space on the eastside, our own Peter Chee has thinkspace in the heart of Redmond, which just also happens to be remodeled green!
He also has suites available for those who want their own private office.

Biznik is hosting a, "How to Network the Biznik Way" event at Thinkspace in Redmond on 8/19, if you'd like to come by and check out the space then.

Thanks for your comments Amy and Lara. Yes, we have some pretty flexible options. We have shared space, private space, four conference rooms which hold (6, 8, 12, 35 people). We have flexible terms -- by the hour, day, or month(s). Parking is free and we are also 200 feet away from the Redmond Transit Center. We also have 24x7 access. Our goal is to provide a great community for SMB's to build sustainable businesses on the Eastside. If you are looking for space in Seattle, I really like what Jacob and Susan are doing out there at ON -- and they are really nice people to boot.

We're really excited about hosting events at ThinkSpace - the fact that it's conveniently located on the Eastside, is built green, and the fact that Peter is a great guy who gets and supports the idea of Biznik makes it a no-brainer for us. Thanks Peter!

In response to the comment about Regus, I have to urge everybody to use extreme caution around that place.
I have had some very bad experiences there. They lose mail, neglect to forward it and are unresponsive to complaints.
They even reject mail they should be accepting. my affiliation with Regus has cost me money and time. They are unresponsive to complaints, and give little indication they care.
The dedication to their customer doesn't exist. Use Regus only with caution.

For the south end, check out www.gohoss.com Federal Way and Auburn in particular!

Janis, I agree. I use gohoss for meetings in Federal Way and I am very happy with them. It is a great space also. They have a location in Auburn also, but I have not used it. If anyone knows of similar space closer to Tacoma, please let me know.
