While i have little knowledge as to whether she does big corporate gigs or not, i highly recommend Beth Yockey-Jones.. look her up in the member directory...or i'll make an intro for you..
Need to hire a writer!
Hello! PLEASE pass this on to anyone you see fit.
I'm looking for a great WRITER/EDITOR, someone who's creative, flexible, and quick. Web savvy and tech smart. Not a cog in the wheel, but a go getter.
Here's the deal. While I've juggled various clients, I've had a steady gig contracting at a website for a few months and I’ve been inspired by what’s happening here. Now, we need help. The new writer could go contract to hire or get employed right away. It’s flexible.
Heard of Classmates.com? It’s chock full of smart and engaged professionals. A fun-loving culture with diverse employees and work/life balance. It’s been profitable since 1995, has 40 million users, and is the biggest social networking site only behind MySpace and Facebook. Everyone here knows that there’s a revolution in social networking, so the brand is evolving, and it’s very cool to be a part of it.
If this appeals to you, you're seriously interested, and if you can come ONSITE to Renton sooner than later, contact me ASAP below:
rkraus@classmates.com
(I'm actually headed to Hawaii in a few hours, so I'll pass on your info and we can pick this up next week!)
Rebecca

Hi again! This offer still stands...(and I'm still in Hawaii).
There are now THREE--count 'em THREE--positions for writers ONSITE in Renton at Classmates.com.
I appreciate all the referrals and introductions, and when I get back to Seattle this week, the quest to grow the editorial team with whip-smart writerlings will kick into higher gear.
Again, this is for ONSITE work in Renton so please ping me only if that works for you.
Cheers, Rebecca

Hi Rebecca - I will forward this around to others who I know. I am not interested personally, as I am kept very busy with my own business (es). Regards, Beth

Hi Rebecca, I've been freelance writing for the last year (in addition to my graphic design work). You can check out some of my most recent writing at www.boxoffice.com. If you need any samples sent to you, by all means let me know.
Yours, Cole Hornaday

Rebecca,
Have you talked with Chris Radant? Not sure if she wants to go on site, but it's worth checking with her as she would add a lot to any team.

Ariel Meadow Stallings is a great writer. She did some wonderful things for jobster.com and wrote a book called Offbeat Bride. She is funny as heck and also a fellow biznicker.
