Thanks Brad! And here's the link, in clickable form: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=7920247877. (Tip: you can embed standard html links in Biznik posts and comments.)
New Facebook group for Biznik members
I created a Biznik group on Facebook with Dan's blessing. If you're a member of Facebook, come join the group here: (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=7920247877)
It's cool to learn more about other Biznik members and their interests.

Thanks Dan. The formatting help says that parentheses should make it a live link, but it doesn't seem to work. Do square brackets work? Using an tag seems like a hassle.

Ok, this is making me feel real dumb because I can't figure out where to click on the Facebook page to join the group.
Anyone who's not down at my dumbness level please help.

Thanks for creating this Brad, was hoping it would happen sooner or later. I did notice that you made it Seattle specific...I wonder if it might serve Biznik better to make it non-regional? -Leif

Look for the "join" button right under the Biznik logo in the upper right of the group page.

Ah bummer, it's locked down to Seattle only or I would join the group as well.

We had several requests to open in to non-Seattle people but Facebook wouldn't let me change it, so the solution is to delete the group and create a new one. Please join this one instead: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=10268664433

My network is South Korea, and I was able to join, so it looks like the kink is out.
Cheers

Ooooo! Personal boundaries are expanding in this business community! People will see picture of me when I was four--which is actually top-secret. Oh well... it had to come out sometime... :)

I'm in now too! And now you can see the exact same picture of me there too. (Ok, I'll change it sometime. Stay tuned.)
Hope to see you AND your faces around town soon!

It's like we have two locations now.
Thanks Brad. This is a great idea and will give biznik more exposure.
See you all there.

Ok, I'm in, too.
And...I feel like a fogey. Um, I still don't really get the point of Facebook. Does this mean I'm officially old and not in on the trends?

Cool, thanks for opening the group to us non-Seattlites. ;)
So aside from further tearing down the walls of our personal boundaries, what's our plan in utilizing Facebook? Not that there has to be a plan.. just curious.

I'm going to echo Rachel.....so this is yet another place to go and spend time online? Why? I personally want more in-person contact.

I find that Bizniks are interesting people, but our Biznik profiles are focused on our businesses and not on our personal interests. The Facebook group gives you a chance to see others' personal interests and hobbies outside of their businesses, like shooting pool, and doing improv, and renewable energy. It gives us introverts more things to talk about and more ways to find common interests.

I joined but I can't see Biznik as one of my networks, and I type in Biznik and I'm told it's not a legitimate workplace or group.

I'm clueless about this, but I'm always up for a good challenge.
And, can anyone tell me why the title to my blog is all funky? What button did I push when I wasn't s'pose to?
It's all about the experience.
