Great Idea Richard.
Potential Seminar Locations
For those of us who host Biznik events and conduct seminars finding meeting rooms is sometimes a challenge. I think that it would be helpful to compile a list of meeting rooms available, minimum requirements, room costs (If the room is not provided free when meals are purchased), size, location and telephone number. Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated.

We are planning to create profiles for venues, and have those displayed prominently on the Create Event page, to make it easy to find a good local venue. Since that's not ready yet, here's something you can download and use immediately: an Excel file with all the popular event venues listed, address and phone info where available, and more:

You can prearrange an event at BiZi Bee Floral for free anytime Paul! We'd love to have you. Give us a call. My # is on my prof also i highly recommend Romio's Pizza in Greenwood and possibly even Romio's downtown those are free too. Good luck!

What a great resource you've posted, Dan!
I was just looking for an intimate and quiet place (that is still public) for my smaller seminars.
I'm looking forward to the integrated version.
Adding a venue fee range as a search criteria would be helpful, too.
Thanks!

I have an old list of resources that needs updating. I am also in the business of leading seminars so co-creating this resource is important to me. In seattle the parks department has a lot of resources as a first tip

I think it would be nice to have these venue profiles be editable by anyone who is logged in as a member, so as a community we can keep it more current and up-to-date than any one of us could alone. I'll create it that way when we build it.

I think that would be an awesome and time saving service, Dan. Thqnk you I have found that for lunch or dinner meetings in the south end the Old Country Buffet is a good place to meet. They have a private meeting room and your not interupted by the waitress bringing food. If you have a non profit group the King County libraries have meeting rooms available.
