Anyone have a good resource for printing?

I need all sorts of stuff printed, and I wonder if we have anyone here that's offering a deal?

Thanks in advance, and I look forward to seeing you guys back at Liberty for the next Happy Hour or the next time that you have a craving for a Manhattan or a Vodka Rickey.

I met Bill McKinstry at BizJam and was impressed with his print knowledge. His shop is set up to handle pretty much anything! (even letterpress and embossing)

He's in Woodinville. I haven't worked with him yet, but he did print the programs for BizJam.

Another printer that's good if you want to go the cheap, glossy flier route is Phoenix Media in PDX (yes, I know they're not IN Seattle, but they have your order on your doorstep in 48 hours. It rocks) Be sure to tell them Sarah Johnson from Incombustible Design sent you. I get credits :) That said, I would recommend them anyway.

I have had a good experience with Nikko Media. For the last four years I have run custom oversized postcards and newsletter print jobs through them. They are fast, efficient and in several cases have saved me from my own mistakes. They are located in downtown Seattle near the ferry terminal.

I've often used www.overnightprints.com they're in PDX, have the best deals I could find on prints and the quality is really good.

    Excellent suggestions - thanks, y'all.

I really want to use someone in Seattle, and more specifically, someone attached to Biznik, so I'll let y'all know what the story is.

I second the quality and good service at Nikko Media. I remember them being expensive though.

They have a small heidelberg press, and if I remember, they don't do very large runs.

    Hi Andrew,

We do printing for companies all over North America. We're based in Troy, Mi (20 minutes North of Detroit). If you are interested, we can review our services and referrals.

    Thanks,

Michelle Lanham at PrintWest is a great local resource. She can do tours of their printing facility and does some great education on how the whole process works and on what options are the most cost effective.

    She's at:
