Ship Green...need opinions

Its interesting, basically calculating a carbon offset purchase for the shipping. One technical note is they only have a plugin for osCommerce, so if you want to use it with other carts you have to do custom integration - which can get expensive.

As for following the dollar, I would guess they're taking a cut of the carbon offset purchase. Of course that's something the customer optionally pays extra for, so nothing out of your pocket for offering it.

I probably wouldn't be any more or less loyal to a store for offering this - but I'm just kinda green.

The ShipGreen plugin for ZenCart is scheduled to be released early this week, possibly tomorrow. It's all tested and we're just writing up the developer notes now.
