Subscribe to Community-wide general discussion Stop clowning around, I mean it! (Anybody want a peanut?)

I'm hear to report that a very strange thing is happening here at Biznik -member profiles are sprouting humiliatingly bright red clown noses. After reporting this to the Biznik team, they immediately investigated the possibility of viral sabotage to the biznik site. However, when I later looked in the mirror, I saw to my horror that this virus has apparently broken into the REAL WORLD! AAAAAHhhhhh!

But seriously...

If you are in support of:

  • not taking yourself (or others!) too seriously
  • having fun in life and work
  • helping Leif not feel so silly and alone
  • Bizjam (whether going or not)

then please commence clownification of your biznik profile by downloading this clownnose and then pasting it onto your profile picture.

Let's start a Nez-olution!

Biznik is unique, and that's why we love it. Having been in traditional networking venues for years and years, it has been a breath of fresh air.

I was also a nose clown myself. But I ran into a door inadvertently and bam, it was gone.

That's what I get for clowning around. But, hey, in my heart, I'm still a clown.

In the UK we had a red nose day. A national day that came from the Comic Relief initiative, like Live Aid, but all comedy related rather than music. There were even red noses for cars. It is/was a major fund raiser.

In case you have been following along, off with my nose, off with my mask, and now a forkful of comfort food (lemon pie); I got kicked out of clown class :-(

Seriousy, you got kicked out Leila? Sounds like a story!

Stephen, sounds like a blast of a day --would have loved to see that.

Well, after a wonderful BizJam, it's time to say goodbye to my clown nose...but the inner clown who is committed to not taking himself too seriously, lives on.

And those who saw the inspired dance of the Leif last night know that this committment is real!

Any video of that dance, for the poor portlander who had to leave on the 5:30pm train?

I think there are a ton of pictures, taken by the official BizJam photog Malcolm Smith. Don't know if anyone had any video going at that point.

Incorrigible, you two. And to think I had to sit through an entire dinner with the two of you...

Boy, at least Leif's work matches well with all this tomfoolery (yes, I'm 75 years old in my vocab). No one is going to believe I'm a professional therapist if I keep this up! ;)

I think I'm going to need a therapist! Oooooh, is that your tactic Rachel ;)

Mark, glad to see you mad the train, and that they let you off despite your criminal history ;)

Leif... Ooooooh, if I'd known before about Mark's history, he and I could have had a completely different conversation ;)

Let's not rip too personal now .....

I'm for sporadic clowning and will play sometimes.
