Anita, the owner of ThinkVitamin, Ryan Carson, also runs a few other websites that are interesting. Namely carsonified.com, dropsend.com, and amigo.net. He also puts on some pretty large web conferences around the world including "Future Of Web Apps (http://futureofwebapps.com)", "Future Of Mobile (http://www.futureofmobiles.com)", and "Future Of Web Design (http://www.futureofwebdesign.com)". So far the ones we've been to have been in SF, New York, and London. You should check them out.

This is turning out to be a fantastic thread...

I use Google, also Macintouch, but as for our business.... well, that covers Bike Forums, Wounded Warrior Project, Cascade Bicycle Club, craigslist, but we also work on our own site - and offering Specials and Promotions here at Biznik, but so far.....
I guess i did a wrong thing by limiting the choice to 6,for i myself is tempted to include more of my favourites:-)
Some other favourites of mine are:
GigaOm
Readwriteweb
Biznik Google http://www.doctordilday.com in that order.... I don't seem to need much else:-)
Forgive me, but most of my day-job is focused on legal issues in Washington State. So, my links:
Walks new business owners through determining what licenses do you need.
Insert a first and last name and look up someone's history with Washington Courts. Good for sussing out possible problem clients. Caution, with so many similar names, just because you find something on a name, doesn't mean it's your John Doe.
The US Post office for zip code lookup and address verification. In these days of easily lost mail, it's nice to use verified addresses and reduce the odds of another lost chunk of correspondence. Can also be used to determine which county the address is in.
Lexis portal for tracking down government and related websites in each of the 50 states.
I'm often lost without a peek atGoogle Maps
When you need an Employer Identification Number, like, yesterday, the IRS online application rocks.
I have a few that I'm on regularly for marketing/blogging, etc.
I keep a fairly regular blog, where I talk about being a business owner, marketing, sustainability and design;
I use Gather for posting articles from my blog.
I use LinkedIn and Facebook for general networking, and import my blog into Facebook;
I have a MySpace account that I almost never check.
I'm also active on the HOW Forums and Twitter, although that's not really a networking thing as much as it is chatting with folks.
Other than that, I check out Google, A List Apart and Creative Latitude pretty often, and I keep up on a couple of blogs.
You guys took care of most of mine!
