Subscribe to Community-wide general discussion What Feed Reader do you use?

Ok I am relatively new to the blogging world, but love it so far. I have found a great way to let out my inner author and find a little business too. I currently read about 10-15 on a regular basis, using IE7 feed reader. Well it kinda sucks! I am an IE fan other than that, but a firefox/IE debate is not what I am after.

I guess what I want a feed reader to do is display the first few lines of every blog I have selected and then I can read the ones that seem interested and skip those that don't. It this sort of thig out there?

Do you read Blogs? If so what feed reader do you use?

I actually bounce around a lot from RSS reader to reader... typically using google desktop since I have three monitors with a lot of screen space.

Depending on your workflow and needs, some platforms work on mobile or single screen desktops better, or some send to e-mail and skip the need for another application running.

Lately I've landed on using Google Reader...the final straw was when they added the technology to allow for offline reading (since I've decided to not be wired at home). I like how I can share my readings and have a widget on my blog that publicizes those entries; I like how they've developed an excellent mobile reader than looks and acts fast on my iphone; I like a bunch more. (:

It has been a month since I started using Google Reader. I am currently up to about 60 feeds and the number is growing daily. The amazing thing is the amount of time spent is still relatively small.

    Kudos for the Greader.

Iam too a fan of Google Reader because of which iam able to keep track of whole lot of "tech sites" at one go. Apart from it you may give a try to Bloglines. Used to use it before switching over to Google reader.

I send the feeds I like to read to my site, but only I can see them. So I organize and read them like my own little online newspaper.

This forum is unmoderated, but please keep discussion courteous and not too far off topic.
