I put together a little youtube video and accompanying website that I thought you guys might get a kick out of. It's gotten about 9,000 unique views at Youtube and another couple thousand at other video sites. It has to do with my begging for an iphone on the streets, I think you'll get the idea when you see it and the site...

"the things that every American deserves to have"

Oh, this is scary brilliant. Very funny. I hope you have a license to behave the way you do (grin)

Ha! Its crazy what kind of mixed response I've had to the video, thus the motive summation on the site: "It puzzles me that some people just don't get it. So, just for the record: I never really begged for money on the street (though two people passing by decided to give some change for fun and, as you see, I do ask for donations on this site from those who wish to show appreciation for the video and/or help me get an iphone.) My primary motives for doing this video were 1)Because I thought it was a funny idea 2)Because I hoped the sad/stark contrast of real human needs with someone asking for an iphone on the street would spark some good thought/discussion, and 3)Because yes, I really do want (yet can't currently afford) an iphone right now --so this was my creative way to try and get the funds."

Thanks for all the compliments and especially for the blog shout-out Michael. I'm glad you liked the goofiness (: Oh, and if you can't shell out the cash to help me get an iphone, please at least give it a vote or comment at youtube.

Leif, you should setup a Digg.com link for this off of your website. Get enough people to Digg it, you'll see another 50k views in a week.

Thanks Raven (: I think its actually my daughter and her neutrality through out the whole thing that makes it rock.

Michael, there is a small digg button on the page but for some reason its only received 5 diggs...I thought it would take off too, but perhaps you've got to have something a little more clever to get the 50k digg (like the iphone in the blender video?) (:

That's pure F@#$ing genious! Why needs food, shelter, love, air, water when you've got a friggin' iphone. Thanks for helping me set my priorities straight. I was blind before, but now I see....
