Subscribe to Introduce your bad indie self Blue Flavor on Biznik

Hey everyone. My name's Keith Robinson and I'm the Creative Director for a small-ish design and development shop in Fremont. Just off 34th and Troll! :)

I'm a new Biznik member and just kind of poking around now. Thought I'd take the time to introduce myself. I'm extremely interested in how social media and technology can help small and independent business and would love to hear your success stories if you've got 'em!

Hi Keith! Welcome to Bizik...my mother worked for Boeing 22 years and I have a friend who is currently working on the 787 project. I know a ton of people at Microsoft and who left Microsoft, but let's face it, although it is a small world Microsoft is so large it is very possible you don't know any of them.

By the way, I see you are in Fremont. They just had an event there at Doc Maynard's that was very successful. Turns out there are a lot of Biznikers that live around there.

I just wanted to let you know that I have been running the Seattle Paint Out, a graffiti removal program partnered with the City of Seattle for the last six years and 2008 will be our 7th. We are looking for volunteers in the Fremont area to help with the Fremont cleanup on Saturday, August 23rd from 9:30am - 2pm. If you are interested or perhaps might want to be a sponsor or neighborhood lead, check out www.paintout.org and give me a ring or email.

    Cheers!

    Welcome Keith!

From reading your profile, it seems like you and Biznik are a perfect fit. It also appears from your experience, you would be a great candidate for writing some very informative articles. And don't forget anyone can host an event. There is lots to do and learn...enjoy!

Keith - Welcome to biznik. Too bad you are not in Portland, I'm on a panel with several other biznikers this Thursday discussing the social networking topic. It's being hosted by Self-employed Creative Professionals (SECP) - www.secppdx.com

Hi Keith, Looks like we're almost neighbors - Lara and I are on the other side of Fremont (affectionately known as Freelard). I've heard great things about you guys. Your posters presentation is just brilliant. Welcome to Biznik!

This forum is unmoderated, but please keep discussion courteous and not too far off topic.
