Subscribe to Introduce your bad indie self Does your inspector know what he is talking about or is the information coming from another source?

If you are looking for a inspector, hopefully you are looking for one that has retained there own knowledge and can write their own information relating to the inspection business. It is so easy now a days to act as if you know what you are talking about when in all actuality you are just using information from someone else.

Make sure as a potential home buyer that your home inspector is knowledgeable about the issues that they have posted on networking sites or on their own websites. Many associations allow fellow members to use information that has been written by someone else to use as their own. This would be fine if you were hiring the individual that wrote it but you are hiring someone who just copied and pasted it.

There are many inspectors who understand the inspection field and know what they are talking about. I just want to make sure that if you are in the process of searching for a inspector you choose someone who can stand behind what they advertise and claim they know. Ask questions, do your research, this is your money and your investment make the right decision and choose someone who will perform the best inspection available.

If I was purchasing and you were in my area, you would be my first choice. I once had a "bad" inspection where a few major things were missed in the past. It cost us dearly and now I know what to look for. Thanks for this article.

I am very sorry you had to experience that. It is very difficult to get people to understand the importance of a good inspector or Master Inspector. Now you know and if you purchase in the future I'm sure you will remember the first experience.

    Best regards,
