Subscribe to Introduce your bad indie self Have you ever thought about working with horses for Leadership Development, Team Building or Life Coaching?

As prey animals, horses are extremely aware. They communicate through their senses. Nature provides them with instincts and senses that are very astute. This astute sensitivity of the horse acts as a mirror for the humans around them. Through your interactions, you are able to assess your strengths and weaknesses. How you relate to the horse can act as your guide in growth, learning and self development.

Equine Facilitated Learning workshops provides a dynamic process of team building, developing leadership, and fine tuning self-awareness skills through horse-human interactions.

While interacting with horses, individuals are able to identify and focus on behavior patterns that will help them reach their full potential in business settings.

Horses let us know how we are presenting ourselves in terms of emotions, energy fields and body movements. With horses, you can experience more consciously nonverbal communication. They invite you to clarify your vision and show you how to create joy in your life.

The experiential learning of the workshops are powerful because it is kinesthetic learning. The learning experiences with the horses are immediately applicable to one’s professional and personal relationships.

Hi Stacy, As an equestrian, I always considered horses as 'flight or flight' creatures who were preyed upon being vegetarians. I agree they are very intuitive and responsive and that is part of why they survive...added with fast synapses! Your work sounds fascinating! I once took a child who was going blind for her first pony ride and it became her lifetime hobby...giving her great confidence in the kindness and steadiness of her pony as her world went dark

Welcome to Biznik, Stacy. That sounds rewarding. I am curious, what benefit do you think a horse receives from this work? Wow, thanks for sharing your experience, Susan. PJ

Thank you for the welcome Susan. I have two special horses. One, the alpha mare, loves attention but due to a bone problem in her feet she is not able to be ridden and worked with very much right now. She was feeling a little put out with all of the riding I was doing with the other horse. She loves people and becomes very engaged with the teams that come to work with us. I also work with individual coaching with her. She is very intuitive and aware of people's subtle messages. All of the work we do is on the ground and most of it is at liberty, which means the horses are free to move around and engage with the people as they desire, it is an excellent experience in non verbal communication. It engages the horses brain and they really enjoy it. Come out and visit us if you are interested. Stacy

All I can say, is I love this. Being an animal lover, this is so cool. Have you ever seen the scene in the movie "28 Days" with the horse. Priceless!
