    Hi Dawn, Welcome to Biznik! After having chatted a little with Colleen, I think the virtual assistant career is great. I'm recommending it to a lot of my entrepreneurial friends.

    On a side note, we go up to Boyne City, MI every summer! Small world.

    Hello Dawn,

    Yours is a burgeoning field, replete with very competent and motivated Administrative Assistants who've been downsized, outsourced, laid off or restructured.

    I'm a business start up specialist and have been able to help people start successful Virtual Assistant businesses in their own homes, on their own schedules, within their own budgets. I'd love to discuss new business opportunities and adding value to existing VA businesses with experienced professionals from across the country.

    Thank you David. I will keep this in mind. I just started this a few weeks ago and have a contracted job with a document preparation company and two more prospects. I think the key is to spend a little time every day searching the job search engines, Craig's list and networking. If it does get hard, I will look you up. Dawn
