It so cool to see all the different companies and countries BizNik has touched. I'm sure in a few years we'll all be successful enough to fly to Australia for all the great events you'll be hosting!
Hello from downunder!
I've been following Biznik for a while now and have seen it grow from a tiny website to this fantastic revision. I think it will make it a lot easier for Biznik to grow internationally. I'm in Geelong, near Melbourne in Australia - and it says the nearest event is 8000 miles away... we need to change that!
I have a web design and marketing business, study Entrepreneurship in a full time course at uni, am planning a major new online venture, and recently started a website called HatchThat where I interview entrepreneurs and business people weekly.
Dan was the lucky first interview, if you're interested you can read it at http://www.hatchthat.com/dan-mccomb-from-biznik/

I would love to visit Seattle too, there is so much happening!
I'm actually one of the founding members of The Hive, a networking group for entrepreneurs in Melbourne. We run very casual monthly events and the turnout has been great so far. If you're ever down here come along and say g'day at thehive.org.au
It would be great to have a booming Biznik community down here as well - I guess somebody just has to kick-start it :)

Welcome Ross from the east coast of the US. It amazes me how the internet allows us to connect all over the world and at any hour of the day. I'm off to check out your site! Take care.

Hi Ross - great to find another Australian on Biznik, you're right that 8,000 miles to the nearest event is too far away!
Cheers, Allison

Hi Ross,
Welcome! You might want to meet Klaus Jaritz, another biznik member from Australia. His site celebrates all that is wonderful about Australia and has touched many of us.
I am drawn to his images-he is a great person for you to network with if you like. Here is his website: http://www.oz-greetings.com.au
Also, Hi Allison.
Kind regards,
Terra

Welcome Ross, It's great to see a forum where a business can reach out on a international basis and have the opportunity to network in so many regions. I would like to discuss the business atmosphere in Australia with you sometime, so feel free to shoot me an emial. Robert

Welcome Ross! I've been lurking, barely, on Biznik for months now. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
I LOVED your Hatch that interview with Dan McComb. I'm working on a site similar to HatchThat.com here: http://www.artistentrepreneurship.com/blog
