Subscribe to Introduce your bad indie self Hello from San Diego

Well, here I am, a newbie to this site. We just moved to San Diego from Ventura County, CA and I've been looking for networking opportunities. My husband and I are in the business of promoting wellness through the use of Nikken products. In addition to sharing our product knowledge with people, we're also always looking for business partners. Feel free to visit www.MaximizeYourWellness.com to learn more about what we do. We've been having the best time building our business! We are just so tired of the whole corporate work "ethic" and other people telling us how much we're worth or how much we're "allowed" to earn. We're tired of making other people rich and having our financial future under the control of someone who just doesn't give a fig for anything but the bottom line. OK, that's my rant.

We also feel very strongly about supporting small businesses and local businesses, so I'll definitely be looking through your various websites.

You go, girl. Power to the solopreneur! Bob and I lived in north county (Cardiff-by-the-Sea) for five years in the early 90s. I absolutely loved it and still miss it.

I'll have to check out your website. Welcome to biznik. This community is so supportive. I bet you'll like it here.

    Dear Diane:

Welcome to Biznik, you are going to love it. It is really nice that you and your husband are partners in health. What a great business to target; I've been meeting more and more people who believe that instead of going to the doctor for remedy you need to do what you can for prevention. I've been using Melaleucca products for about three years now and I'm pretty happy with them. I can't really imagine using anything else that might be unhealthy.

By the way, did you come up with your image? I really like it.

    Cheers!

    Helen

    Hi Helen and Judy!

Nice to "meet" you and thanks for the kind words. Helen, I used Melaleucca products before I learned about Nikken and the products are very good quality! Nikken has a whole "Wellness Home" concept, and that's what appealed to me. Plus the fact that before using the Nikken MagStrides I couldn't walk for longer than 10 minutes at a time. The products have really helped with my fibromyalgia symptoms.

Helen, I "appropriated" the image from the company website. It wasn't trademarked, and I love it because Nikken honors the environment every day, not just during "Earth Week". I believe that our association with this company affirms our environmental beliefs.

Judy, we live in Mission Valley. Cardiff- by-the-Sea is a lovely town! We just love the whole county.

Thanks, Andrey! Yep, I'm so ready to move on to bigger and better things. Our decision to concentrate on this business full-time was somewhat forced on us (my husband was recently laid off from his managerial position), but he is so much more relaxed and enthusiastic about doing what he wants to do. We decided that after "playing" at the business for 2 years the potential for the future with these products is enormous and we really dreamed about doing it full-time. I know know to be careful what I pray for 'cause God has this interesting way of answering me. :)

    Wishing you wellness, Diane

Thank you, everyone, for welcoming the new member. I'm afraid the company she represented, Nikken, is multi level marketing company and we had to close Diane's account.

Though the products may be outstanding, Biznik does not extend membership to those affiliated with companies like Nikken and Melaleucca.

Here's a link to our No MLM policy.

Thank you for posting the policy Lara! I didn't know that until I went to check our her page and it wasn't there.
