welcome melissa! we hope you find yourself at home here :)
Hello, My Name Is....
Hello,
I am new as of yesterday after finding an event listed in the Seattle Times. How exciting to join an online networking community that is socially active. I belong to Active Rain, for Real Estate professionals, but it is mostly for learning, blogs, and professional exposure. Most of us will never meet.
I belong to the Bellvue Chamber of Commerce which provides some Networking events. After careful review, I believe Biznik will provide more events that allow me to meet people on a professional level.
So please understand if I send you an invite to join my Network. I have every intention to build a strong Referral Group of Trusted Professionals, in my area of service. I hope not to rely on Events alone as I make an effort to connect as time permits for everyone.
Thanks for reading. Please feel free to drop a line and introduce yourself.
All the best!
~Melissa Olson ~HOPE Lending LLC

Hi Melissa,
Which event was listed? That's neat that The Seattle Times announced a Biznik event as I assume it was a Biznik event, right?!
Welcome to the club.

Thank you for the welcome!

Thank you Amy. This is the best opportunity I've found thus far to Network in a professional environment outside the Chamber, Rotary, or other Clubs. I'm already thinking of how I can host an event.

Here's another cool thing about Biznik: Try Googling bellevue mortgage consultant and check out who comes up number one...
MySpace is cool, LinkedIn is cool, but as far as I know only Biznik gives you that kind of search engine visibility.
Welcome to Biznik, /dan

Dan - that is really cool. I have been optimizing my efforts with search engine placement. How did you do that?

Biznik gives you amazing SEO - for free. Of course, we hope you'll become a paying member if you find this site valuable to your business :-)

Re: how we do it - it's through a combination of outstanding page structure and design, and the fact that we have a high page rank and lots of inbound links, which increases the relevancy of your profile.
