Hi Judy, Glad you are enjoying the site. Thanks for asking for suggestions, here are a few for now:
Join in the BizTalk discussions. Until we get things more structed, the Community-wide general discussion thread tends to be the most active, catch-all. Engage in current discussions, or ask your own business-building questions.
Go to the members section and check out people in your area (you can even search for specific towns, industries, etc.) and make some connections.
Attend or create an Event in your area. Getting a small group together for a face-to-face event is the most powerful way to grow your business IMHO. You could create a mastermind/support group; you could be generous with your business experience and also likely get some clients; you could even just host a social biznik get together. Check out the Events section to see what others are doing and what sparks your interest. You may need to switch to Seattle as it has the most Events at this time.
Read some of the excellent articles in our Learn section, and then engage with the article in the comments section --often lively discussions that give folks a chance to know and trust you as well.
Theres a ton more ways to engage the community, and this inspires me to start a 'what do I do" thread I can refer folks to in the future.
Look forward to seeing you around Biznik!
