Welcome to Biznik Gerard. Isn't it fun to have more then one hat? Art T.
I didn't know I had a 'bad indie self'...so that explains it...
As a serial entrepreneur who started my first business selling Christmas cards door to door at age 12, it's no surprise that being in a big corporate environment would lead me here. I love your manifesto: e.g., Bizniks will stage a completely collaborative, non-violent coup of the greater business world...Money in the right hands is powerful, passionate and cool....Hooray! When I butt heads with corporate politics I now know my "bad indie self" is the mad genius behind it. Kind of feels like being Clark Kent:) Oh, and in my Clark Kent life I'm a physician/MBA at a tertiary care hospital outside of Seattle. One reason to come to Seattle is to find that phone booth called 'bizniks' where I can change into my alter ego and help others make a positive change in small business and health care (are the two compatible interests?)...oh, and I'm a Huskies fan too...Go Dawgs!

Hi Gerard, This does seem like a great place to where another hat. As a new, small business owner, I appreciate anyone willing to turn on the alter ego to help those like me make positive changes.

Welcome Gerard, you're not only a bad indie but exude great humor. I look forward to meeting you at an event sometime soon. In addition, I'm sure the Biznik community would love to see some articles from you as well.
Cheers!
Helen
